This is a second drawing of one of the bears that appear on the cover of my comic book Vikings Saga of the North. Here, I worked more on the bear's fur, and the pose is more dynamic. Doing these studies with different materials is a very relaxing exercise, as it's good for an artist to vary the materials. In the end, the cover was made with ink, and the bears don't have as much detail, but without these studies, I wouldn't have been able to achieve the final result. This art is done on paper with black colored pencil. Image size is  30.5 cm x 43 cm (18"x 24.00").
