In this sketchbook, you'll find some of the drawing techniques I use—especially my approach to two essential materials for comics and art in general: paper and India ink.
As a comic artist, I believe it's important to deeply understand this branch of drawing. In these pages, I experimented with different tools, including calligraphy nibs and various types of brushes. Using these instruments, I dove into a language of lines—lines that cross, intertwine, and interact to bring each illustration to life. In some drawings, I also used white ink to highlight details or create contrast.
The possibilities for reinterpreting a drawing are endless, and this sketchbook is a reflection of that creative journey. 64 pages.
