Forests were considered by the Vikings as sacred places where a connection between the material world and the spiritual world is hidden. Within their beliefs, there are the forest spirits, whom I have imagined as wise men who cultivate wisdom. These arts are done with black ink on paper, size 30.5 cm. x 43 cm. (12.00" x 16.92").
